![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I truly believe there are good guitars and crappy guitars at literally every price point by every manufacturer.). You have to be prepared to play a bunch of them and find a good one. (I'm generalizing here, a truly high end Gibson is an amazing thing)īut there's no denying that quality and feel are all over the map. I actually like these more than I like Gibsons in general, and I get to play a lot of those too. What makes them fun and also frustrating is they're all over the place! Neck profiles.? Forget it, literally every guitar has a different neck! (I'm only half kidding) My advice is don't chase a particular year range, or country of manufacturing with these instruments. Bottom line, I get to see and play a LOT of Epiphones. I've personally owned probably 10 Epiphone guitars. We also buy a lot of "factory seconds" from MIRC. I work in a guitar store that buys and sells almost exclusively used instruments. I have a Sheraton II from that period that is just a straight up amazing guitar. Korean Epiphones from the 90's can be great for sure. ![]()
